Help Wanted!

Attention All Viewers!
From now until January 2nd, The NHL Line will be looking for new members for the website. We are currently looking for any one interested in writing for the website or contributing to other sections, such as the Stats, Scores, etc. If you are interested in becoming a writer then please disclose what you wish to write about when you send us your email. If you wish to become a contributor then please do the same, just send us which part you would like to help out with.

We are looking for people who will post interesting and relevant topics. Just as long as there is some truth to the news you will be giving.

All people interested would be writing for our new and upcoming site www.nhlline.ca, which will be ready to go in the first week of January. If you’re at all interested or have any questions then please contact me at thenhlline@hotmail.com. Remember, this is voluntary.

The NHL Line Update & Plans for the New Year

As you all have noticed, updates on The NHL Line have been very slow over the past month or so and thanks to a few writers, my absence from posting did not leave a huge blank spot on this website. TNL was still updated regularily, however not much of a variety of news. The Sabres reports, and gameday skates were seen a lot more because of a dedicated Buffalo writer who posted a lot more then even i did since this new version of TNL opened up. He posts consistently which is great. Soon, starting today this site will be updated more on a daily basis, much like our old form. We will continue giving trade rumors, news, etc. The Standings and player statistics will not be updated until the new year when we get our site up and running (www.nhlline.ca).

Plans for the New Year

In the new year, we plan to move this site to www.nhlline.ca, our official website. This was the plan for a while but it took a lot longer than we thought. This site that you are currently reading was a “preview” site that would show you what to expect from the new one. The new one, however will be much better and you will see a better variety of features than this one.

I will host a scoreboard again for each day there are games in the NHL being played. Standings and Statistics will also be updated more frequently as well.

If there is anyone who would like to help with the new site, as either a writer or a contributor to certain areas of the site (such as stats, scores, or your designated area), please contact me at thenhlline@hotmail.com.

Standings now updated

The 2006-2007 regular season standings will now be updated daily on The NHL Line. The Standings page can be found at the top of the webpage. As of now it is just showing standings by conference, but soon we will have it for both Division and Conference.
