Leafs deal Tellqvist to Coyotes

The Toronto Maple Leafs have finally moved their excess netminder, sending Mikael Tellqvist to the Phoenix Coyotes for rugged winger Tyson Nash and a draft pick.

Woziewski signs extension with Leafs

The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed young defenceman Andy Wozniewski to a one-year contract extension on Friday. The deal will see Wozniewski with the Leafs through the 2007-2008 season.

Leafs edge Thrashers 4-2

This is the first time this season the Toronto Maple Leafs have won consecutive games. Saturday night the Leafs took it to the Habs, winning the game in a shootout 5-4, and tonight the Leafs were able to continue their great success against the Thrashers as they clinged to a 4-2 victory.
