Phoenix claimes Perrault off waivers

The Phoenix Coyotes have claimed Joel Perrault off waivers today from the St. Louis Blues. Perrault, 23, played inĀ 9 games this season with the Coyotes already, before being claimed off waivers by the Blues on October 31st. Now he finds himself back in the dessert for the second time.


Biron to Phoenix?

According to several reports, the Phoenix Coyotes are talking with the Buffalo Sabres in an attempt to land goaltender Martin Biron. Biron has gone 3-0-0 this season and has been filling-in for the back-up role this season in Buffalo. If perhaps Biron were to be dealt he would definetely place Curtis Joseph on the bench, allowing him to take over the starting position in Phoenix.

The Coyotes have also inquired about San Jose Sharks goaltenders Evgeni Nabokov and Vesa Toskala a few times.


Report: Coyotes close to deal with Perreault

Coyotes looking at G Telqvist

TSN.ca reports the Phoenix Coyotes may be showing some interest in Maple Leaf goaltender Mikael Telqvist but the struggling Coyotes are not willing to give up a second round pick in return.
