Rangers place Ozolnish on waivers

The New York Rangers announed today that the team has placed defenceman Sandis Ozolnish on waivers. The Rangers have not been satisfied at all with the performance Ozolnish has put-up this season, recording only 3 points in 21 games.

Isbister lands in The Big Apple

After signing forward Brad Isbister in the offseason to help add to their offensive woes, the Carolina Hurricanes have decided to give the forward a new home. Earler today the Canes dealt Isbister to the New York Rangers in exchange for centre Jakub Petruzalek and conditional pick in the 2008 draft.
