The Columbus Blue Jackets announced today that the club has fired head coach Gerard Gallant. TSN reports assistant coach Gary Agnew is expected to be named interim head coach until they find a replacement for Gallant. Hitchcock is one of many names being mentioned as possibilities to take over the coaching job in Columbus.
